In this innovative degree scheme you are able to range across the broad disciplines that make up both Archaeology and Ancient History. Within the Departments of Archaeology and Classics you will study the historical and literary documents along with the material remains of the ancient sites and artefacts. At the core of this degree is the opportunity to do a week’s intensive field work in Naples, based on Pompeii. You will then undertake further study as part of your degree back in Lampeter, where you will have the opportunity to study in depth the archaeology and history of the Naples region.
