Join Campws a Thref Llambed,
the Friends of the University of Wales Lampeter Association
For more than 175 years, the town of Lampeter has been host to, first, St David’s College and more, recently, the University of Wales Lampeter. During this time, the two have evolved very much side-by-side: without the University, the town of Lampeter would be very different and, likewise, without the town, the University of Wales Lampeter would be very different. In recognition of this symbiotic relationship, the University has formed Campws a Thref Llambed to promote the relationship between “town and gown” and to involve further the local community in its activities.
By joining, members of the local community and others further a field can identify themselves with the University and be given the opportunity to participate in University activities. Membership will entitle you to the following benefits:
- Annual Dinner or Garden Party and Croquet Match
- Invitation to guest lectures
- Invitation to University dinners
- Invitation to Degree Day
- Notification of events taking place on campus
- Membership of University libraries (subject to a returnable deposit)
