ArmagAbout the Celtic Christianity e-Library

The Celtic Christianity e-Library is an initiative of the Centre for the Study of Religion in Celtic Societies. Its aim is to provide access to machine-searchable sources for the study of Celtic and Insular Christianity. Original language text and English translation are provided where possible. Some sources have been placed online by the Centre staff, others are hyperlinked to the site from other online libraries. In the latter case, users are advised to read the copyright information pertaining to the individual sites.

The following sources are in the public domain, or are used courtesy of other sites which have made the material available. Most of the items are included here because they are old translations and now out of copyright, though many also represent the only available translation. Some have been subject to minor correction, in line with modern orthographic practice or to correct fundamental errors.

Tips for Users of On-line Texts

Use of the copyrighted material is permitted for non-commercial purposes. Where the electronic form of the text is copyrighted to an individual you are requested to acknowledge that copyright in any re-use.

Any queries should be directed to the site manager: Dr Jonathan M. Wooding
