Changes to Your Studies

If for any reason you need to make changes to the way you study you must do so officially.

You may want to:

  • change the number of modules you take
  • take a different module from the one you registered for
  • not take any modules for a term / year
  • withdraw
  • change your study mode (i.e. full-time to part-time or vice versa)
  • transfer from one degree scheme to another
  • obtain an extension
  • upgrade from the Licence to the MA in Classics
  • upgrade from the Certificate to the Diploma
  • upgrade from the Diploma to the MA
  • upgrade from the MPhil to the PhD

In all these cases you need to contact the Classics Director of Postgraduate Studies,Dr. James Richardson, in the first instance, to discuss any change in more detail and make sure that any change is appropriate and the right one in your case.  You may then need to request the necessary forms from the Academic Registry to register any changes formally.

If there is something you think should be added to or changed in these pages, please contact Errietta Bissa.
