Postgraduate StudiesStaff Office HoursMichaelmas Term 2009All full-time members of staff have four set office hours per week when they are available to students; part-time members of staff have two set office hours per week. Office hours can change from term to term depending on the teaching commitments of members of staff. Details are posted on their office doors, and a list of all office hours will be on the Departmental notice boards and on the Departmental website. If students wish to see a member of staff they are encouraged to try to see them within those hours whenever possible. If your problem is urgent or you cannot make the office hour (e.g. because of your teaching schedule), please feel free to see your personal tutor outside office hours.
All full-time members of staff are research active and have one dedicated research day per week during term-time. During this day, usually a Friday, staff do not have any teaching or administrative commitments. Information about research days can be found on staff’s office doors. .
