Syllabus: This module continues the study of Greek by reading a text of the appropriate level. The module will focus primarily on translating the text and on understanding the grammar and syntax of the Greek. Students will, however, also be strongly encouraged to begin to develop their skills of literary criticism, through discussion of the literary style and content of this text, and of the techniques the author employs. |

Evaluation (including student evaluation): Students will be asked to complete a questionnaire at the end of the module. This will be used by the Department in its annual review of all its teaching to help evaluate the module’s success. The external examiner will also have the opportunity to make comments and results of the questionnaires will be discussed in the SSCC. |
