CONTENT

This module continues to work through the textbook of Athenaze I and start on Athenaze II.  It begins where the Beginners Greek I course finished (usually at the end of chapter 10).  Like Beginners Greek I, this course will consist of a mixture of grammar, translation, and comprehension exercises.  The adapted texts used in this module will introduce students not only to the language itself, but also to Greek civilisation and culture in general. The knowledge and skills acquired in the Beginners Greek II course helps to prepare students to progress to the higher levels, where texts will be read in the original language.
