CONTENT This module continues with the study of Latin, picking up where Beginners’ Latin I left off (usually chapter 2A in the text book). Like Beginners’ Latin I, this course will consist of a mixture of grammar, translation and comprehension exercises. The adapted texts used in this module will introduce students not only to the Latin language itself, but also to Roman civilisation and culture in general. The knowledge and skills acquired in the Beginners’ Latin II course help to prepare students to progress to the higher levels, where texts will be read in the original language.
