Conti Family Prize jointly awarded to Steven Gerrard and Stephanie Lock

ON DEGREE DAY, THE DEPARTMENT OF FILM AND MEDIA was delighted to present two of its graduating students with the 'Conti Family Prize in Film and Media'. This prize is awarded annually to the student or students that have made an outstanding contribution to the life of the Department of Film and Media.
Both Steve and Stephanie have enriched the life and atmosphere of the Department by their enthusiastic involvement in extra-curricular activities such as running Film clubs, addressing potential students on Open Days, showing visitors around and generally helping out whenever there was a need for an extra pair of hands. With their courteous, polite and good natured attitude both Steven and Stephanie made themselves invaluable and reliable members of the Department.
About the Conti Prize
This is given by the Conti Family, owners of the Conti Cafe, where visitors to Lampeter may get the best Cappuccino or sample the home-made, multi award-winning Conti Dairy Ice-Cream. The prize is given in honour of Jo Conti, who achieved a First Class Honours degree from the Department of Film and Media.
